If you’ve ever lost an hour or 3 in search of fresh color palette inspiration, (or spent too much time watching Wong Kar Wai films) you’re going to love Stefan Mansson’s new platform.
The Colorbook analyzes the most popular shots from Dribbble’s homepage and curates a running list of the 5 most prominent colors from each shot.
“I was finding it hard and time consuming to explore all the awesome color palettes designers are using on Dribbble,” said Monsson on Product Hunt. “On the homepage of The Colorbook you can find the latest trends of color palettes users of Dribbble are using, updated every hour. Using the timeline, you can travel back in time day by day to see the most popular color palettes from shots posted on that day.”
A cool hover animation feature allows users to quickly separate and identify each color’s hex code with the option to refer back to the original shot.
Keep an eye on this platform—additional features are in the works.
