With new social platforms for creatives popping up every day, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of who to follow. We asked our team and some of our closest friends where they go on Instagram to find inspiration (or to be wowed!). Check out this list of some of our favorite designers on Instagram.

You can tell a lot about someone by what they take pictures of. Have you ever sat with someone's feed and really thought about it? . Sometimes I spend an embarrassingly long amount of time sitting with someone's feed… not any particular photo but looking at their cumulative feed. What are they taking pictures of? What angles are they using? How do they use colour? . Photography is a form of self-expression and documentation and everyone falls along that spectrum somewhere on Instagram. Mix that in with our need to present the best and what you get is an accidental and intimate view into someone's mind… and their perception of themselves. . Unless… it's just a picture of a waterfall. In which case, you can't learn shit. 😜

Back in Sydney and painting at @rare_syd today! Rare is a four-day conference and masterclass that aims to tackle the lack of diversity in the creative industries. I‎t’s the brainchild of two of Australia’s leading creative directors, Tara McKenty(Google) and Stefanie DiGiavincenzo (Clemenger BBDO) and launched today in partnership with @d_and_ad. The event features industry leaders from around the world and aims to give creative talent from diverse backgrounds the network and knowledge they need to succeed. There will be four artists creating pieces throughout the event with works auctioned off on Thursday and funds put towards scholarships and grants for those underrepresented in the industry. Will be sharing more in my stories this week. 💥

Article I, Section 6 lays out some fun things about Congress, including that they fully control their own pay and the increase of which (later amended), and that the above things—any treason, felony or breach of the peace (the Constitution says “and”, but I just realized that now that I’m typing this)—are the only things that a member of Congress can be arrested for while either serving in their house or traveling to and from. That’s a pretty broad scope of immunity. . Sadly, we have some members of Congress—and some hoping to be in 2018—that may actually be cause for concern with these offenses. Democrats need to really show up in 2018, not only to take back control of a major check on executive power, but to keep out even crazier far-right primary challengers, too. We don’t need any extra Roy Moore’s running around. . #ConstitutionalCartouches

Finally had a chance to post photos of my recently completed mural in Rovaniemi, Finland! This mural, titled "Vessel", is a reminder that we are so much more than what we think we are as humans beings. We are not limited to our bodies, our identities or our past memories. If we can fully open up and let go of the judgement and control over ourselves and others, we will allow space for magic to happen. It's been an absolute pleasure working on this project in Rovaniemi, Finland. It's my biggest mural to date and i've learned so much from the process. A massive thank you to @mytkis for being the best assistant ever🏆. Thanks to the @upeart team for the amazing opportunity to share my art in Finland. Thank you Finland for the northern lights, the lovely and supportive people, the delicious fish soup and the much needed saunas. I am super grateful for the whole experience. Till next time 💚

Working mostly with ink on paper, Andrea sees her work as a visual journal that reflects her thoughts and experiences.
