Slack + InVision partner to make design communication easier

We love Slack. We use it every day at InVision to power our distributed team’s day-to-day design communication—and we know you love it, too.

We’re excited to announce that starting today, you can easily share your screens directly to Slack without having to leave your InVision projects!

And this is just the beginning. We’re working on a much bigger, much deeper integration with our friends at Slack to unify your design and team collaboration.

Keep your team up to date on your design progress or share what you’re working on at any moment in a few clicks. Simply log in to your InVision account, click into a project, hit the share icon in the bottom right, and select Slack to send that screen to a channel of your choice. You can also add a comment to display with your screen and automatically share access to your screens with anyone when you send it over.

How to send screens from InVision to Slack

1. In preview mode, find the screen you’d like to share
2. Click the share icon in bottom right corner
3. Select Slack
4. Select the Slack team and channel you’d like to authorize, and click Authorize (you’ll only need to do this once)
5. Add a comment to your InVision screen
6. Click Send!
