Making a more collaborative product design environment for design teams and beyond is at the heart of what we do at InVision. That’s why we’re beyond thrilled to be joining forces with Macaw, a much-loved web design tool, and its team.
We’ve collaborated with Macaw for quite some time, but now, their team will formally join InVision to help us create a better, more collaborative product design environment on the InVision platform.
The Macaw team will help shape InVision features bridging the designer-developer gap, like Inspect, a tool for the design-to-development handoff, and Motion, codeless high-fidelity animations for prototypes.
The most important piece of this partnership? The shared vision Macaw and InVision hold for the future of design.
Macaw launched in 2013 and has over 125,000 loyal users. We aren’t killing Macaw! Users will have continued access to the product. Scarlet, Macaw’s companion product currently in pre-release, will be incorporated into the overall InVision product strategy and revisited at a later date.
