Starting today, and for a limited time in honor of April 1st, you’re invited to embark with friends, family, and teammates on an intergalactic multiplayer adventure of space domination in Freehand Royale. As you'll discover, Freehand Royale is a minigame built directly into Freehand—complete with point-scoring gems, laser sounds (pew! pew!), shaking screens, multiplayer score tracking, and enemy asteroids in our signature InVision Pink.

And while Freehand Royale is about fun and games, it's also much more than that. Thousands of companies large and small use Freehand as a way to have icebreakers and bring their teams closer together in today’s remote world. We feel the same. Freehand Royale was built in the span of 72 hours during a company hackathon, and now it's a new way for teams to stay connected. It's also a reflection of the joy and limitless possibilities we see for one of our very favorite tools.

Over the past year, we’ve launched dozens of meaningful improvements to the Freehand experience, rooted in feedback from our customers. Some of the highlights include commenting, templates from leading companies and innovators, fan-favorite emoji reactions, and version history, with much more to come.

What else can we say? We’re all looking for ways to connect and bring lightness into our work these days—so, let’s do it in Freehand.
